After flipping around in gymnastics as a child, I have always loved the feeling of freedom that comes with physical movement. Yoga creates the essence of 'Being Here Now' through the focus of physical practice. Ashtanga Yoga has been my guide for ten years now, and it continues to teach me more about myself every time I practice and teach. My classes are positively energetic (like me), helping you to sweat all the negativity from your day to day life. It is a wonderful thing to escape our mind stuff, and Ashtanga Yoga will keep you focused solely on your breathe and what you are doing at that exact moment. There will be no room for anything else. I teach strict Ashtanga as well as Ashtanga Influenced which is similar to Vinyasa while keeping with a similar layout of Ashtanga. Being an adrenaline junky, my other passions include: flying trapeze, aerial silks, rock climbing, hiking, landscaping, skydiving and lifting weights. With all of this, Yoga has become even more important in my life, bringing together the qualities of great energy along with a deep centered-ness, helping me to stay aware of all that life has to offer.
