Morning Meditation Immersion
with Carisa Borrello

June 3th-June 28th
Weekdays 6:30-7:15am

We meet at The Living Seed every weekday, Monday through Friday, to practice a seated meditation practice together. You can develop your own self-practice on the weekends.

Embrace the stillness and inner quiet of your mind in the early hours of each morning in the practice of meditation. Our natural state is presence, yet in our busy lives we easily forget ourselves and lose our balance & awareness. Meditation will return you to you, and awaken the presence and beauty of each moment to its fullness, simplicity & truth. The experience itself is the teacher.

A daily meditation practice gives you tools and the opportunity to navigate life's daily changes with grace, compassion and awareness.

This meditation immersion is a commitment (there will be no drop in's allowed). Please arrive a few minutes early to get yourself comfortable. We will have chairs available. The practice will begin punctually at 6:30am.

This immersion practice is free of charge and only requires a commitment from yourself. Donations are welcome to help support The Living Seed.

mindfulness practices for everyday life:
Stress Reduction & Mindfulness Meditation series
with Donna Sherman

June 11th- July 26th
Tuesdays 6-7:30PM

“Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?” –Lao-Tzu

Daily life, by it’s very nature, is rarely going to present itself to us like a well-tended garden. Intense emotional reactivity tends to arise when we try to bend life to our liking and where there is intense reactivity, there is often prolonged suffering and bewilderment.

We can all point to places in our lives where we become ruled by habits of thought, habits of behavior, fear and frustration. But, there is good news…

We have within us an enormous capacity for resiliency and deepening equanimity. We don’t need to seek hidden caves avoiding the very things that trip us up; instead, we can learn to meet life on life’s terms, with increased presence of mind and skillful action, by consistently strengthening our mindfulness muscle.
